In this two-day reiki certification experience, led by Jessica Nolen LMT and Lola ‘Glow’ Pittenger, you will be given opportunities to explore your own higher sense perception. You will enjoy several deep guided meditations, gentle yoga movement, live kirtan music, and practice intentional exploratory journaling. We will lead a lecture and practice of “compassionate communication” and mindful eating, integrated through the learning and practice of Reiki energy healing. The chakra system is covered throughout as well!
Reiki is a powerful healing modality through gentle touch that can be used anytime for anyone! Its origin is from Japan and serves as a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and at ease. Reiki allows the body, mind, and spirit to unite and become balanced, leading you into rest/digest and out of fight/flight.
Each person will receive Reiki attunements on each day and a Level 1 and 2 certificate upon completion.
